Can you use a star destroyer to kill a ringworld if a system has more than one star?

As I understand things, if a star system has MORE than a single star than a Ringworld CAN be taken out by a star destroyer device. But only if there's more than just the start the Ringworld is built on.

Yes, if there are still other stars in the system, apart from the one that was consumed in building the ring world, you can destroy the ring world by destroying one of those other stars. The ring world itself still can't be attacked directly.
