SE4 music playback

SE4 uses DirectX8 for mp3 play, but are these mp3's from the Music/ dir played in Win98/WinXP/Win7/Win10 fine? is it sound with/without noise? are noticeable delays of track loop?

I've never had trouble with the music in SE4 on various operating systems.
