The TDM-Modpack is often classified as a gameplay mod however it's basically a collection of shipsets and improved AIs for existing races with minimal if any changes to the data files.
The TDM-Modpack is nearly as old as Space Empires IV itself. It's creators, Tampa Gamer, Daynar and Mephisto (T, D & M - get it?), started it as a simple project to improve the standard race AIs and keep them up to date with the latest patch.
It has evolved into a collection of race that have come to represent the most fearsome AIs the game can offer. The racial characteristics and AI files are carefully tweaked to provide the toughest computer opponents SE4 can provide.
